Gilliam: "Will Direct Films for Food!"

Terry Gilliam yesterday embarked solo on his marketing campaign for Tideland's release in the US this week. He made his way to the Daily Show queue donning a rather smart looking belly board (inset).
The affable director took time to talk with people in the queue for the daily show, and as ever, was ever quick to mark his distaste at Hollywood studio's shunning him.
Comedy Central insider had the news and a man on the scene. Read the article HERE

I for one rate Gilliam as one of the most important directors of our day. He's steadfast in his refusal to bow to studio demands and basically makes the films he wants to make. He's a balls to the wall true Director and visionary.
Credit where credit's due!
Nice one tezza... wish I coulda been there.
