Now and again you hear one of those rumours you hope is nonsense, but as time goes on you find yourself browsing an article that confirms or at least close to confirms the rumours might actually be true. Today, one such moment occurred to me while perusing the daily gossip over a coffee. "For the love of prickly pete!" I exclaimed with dismay... Not surprisingly, because one of the films I've been most looking forward to this year (thats right, looking forward to, hasn't even come out yet) is already being lined up for a remake.
13 Tzameti, the film still wet behind the ears, and one that shows such outstanding promise has been marked and caught in the sights of hollywood. Its barely out of nappies and they're sticking forks and prodding it.
New York Post reports that the remake has several A-Listers attached to it, including Joaquin Phoenix, Tobey Maguire, Heath Ledger and Leonardo DiCaprio. Meh...
They;ve even been scouting locations around New York apparently.
*sigh*
